ARE TAXES AND DUTIES INCLUDED IN MY ORDER TOTAL?

How duties, taxes and other customs fees are treated is dependent on what country you are shipping to. If you are ordering in Australia the price at checkout includes all duties and taxes. Therefore, you will not be liable for any additional duties and tax charges when your order arrives.

HOW ARE DUTIES AND TAXES CALCULATED?

Duties and taxes are calculated based on the items ordered, where they were made, your shipment destination and the value of your purchase, and are added to your order total in the shopping cart. For Australian orders, GST is applied at 10% of the total order value. If you have any other questions around duties and taxes, let our Customer Service team know: customercare@triangl.com.

This charge is determined by your local customs authority and includes: 

- The Sales Tax applied by Australia (GST) and;
- Duties charged for processing in Australia.

ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES?

In some cases you will see “Fees” listed along with duties and taxes when selecting to prepay at checkout. Additional fees, when applicable, may include customs clearance fees, dangerous goods fee, remote area surcharge, high value goods clearance, broker clearance, among others. TRIANGL guarantees you will not be required to pay any additional cost on delivery when you prepay these fees at checkout, either by selecting to prepay duties and taxes at checkout or if you are shipping to a country that automatically ships without an additional payment of duties as listed below.

ARE DUTIES AND TAXES REFUNDABLE ON RETURN ORDERS?

Any duties are non-refundable.

HOW ARE DUTIES AND TAXES HANDLED FOR MY COUNTRY WHEN SHOPPING ON THE TRIANGL WEBSITE?

If you are shopping in Australia duties and taxes are included. This means you will not be asked to pay additional duties or taxes on checkout or when your order arrives. We guarantee you will not be charged any additional fees at checkout or upon delivery.

WHAT IF I GET CONTACTED BY CUSTOMS OR THE SHIPPING COMPANY?

In some cases, the carrier may reach out to request information from you. If they ask you to confirm your address or verify a delivery window, please do so, as this will expedite your delivery date. If you are in a country where duties and taxes are pre-paid (see list below in the FAQs regarding duties & taxes), but are presented with a bill for duties and taxes please refuse and submit an inquiry to TRIANGL by emailing orders@triangl.com.
